Nicholas Twist on Toy Story, Buzz Lightyear adventure!

Whenever I plan an event, theme and color scheme is the first thing I like to come up with. For this Buzz Lightyear theme our color scheme was light blue, lime green, white and a dash of purple. I really question myself on the purple for a few weeks, “Purple for a boys party?!?!” I thought. In the end I love how this color scheme turned out and I think we rocked that purple! The balloon wall and Marquee letters were a huge hit!

We had a magician for this event so I wanted to make sure the kids table would be front and center for the magic show! I found these cute Alien hats at Party City and it went perfect for this theme. I also had custom party favor boxes and pizza planet cookie boxes made to match our theme, which I found on Etsy.

Our cake was made by Love at First Bite. I don’t think another cake could have captured this theme better. For flavors the top layer was amaretto with strawberry filling. The bottom layer was chocolate cake with raspberry filling and chocolate ganache. Yes... it was delicious
