Party Recap

We had so much fun planning this birthday party! I prepped about a month in advance. Here are some highlights.

Doors - We collected cardboard, cut them up in door shapes and spray painted in advance. Each child attending had their own personalized door and there were plenty extras for fun decorations. We hung them up all over the yard with zip ties and in the trees with rope.

Party Favors - We collected Pringles cans and wrapped them in yellow tape. Then I used electrical tape for a stripe on the top and bottom and a piece of duct tape down the center. I used a red sharpie to color squares on the small strip of duct tape. Last step was to spray paint the tops yellow.

Party Hats - I ordered firemen hats off of amazon and spray painted them blue. I then found the Monsters Inc logo online and printed on sticker paper.

Decorations - Almost everything came from Party City. Other than that, I used a ton of googly eyes glue gunned to tooth picks, sticker paper and printed images.

Name Tags - Every guest had a personalized name tag. I have a crafty graphics design friend that was able to help with this.

Hi Chelsea. You can see in the party recap that I am fortunate enough to have a graphic design friend. I searched google for a few images, gave her an idea of what I wanted and she made them up for me. I then cut then out, had them laminated, hole punched the top and tied some string to them. We had Mike, Sully, Boo, Randall & Roz and each guests name was personalized on the tags.
