Party Recap

Madison's 5th birthday was inspired by lalaloopsy. She wanted to dress up as Cinder slipper. The dress wasn't puffy enough so I sewed in a petticoat for extra fluff, I bought isotoner slippers and sewed on silk lace to lace up her legs. I also bought arms length silk gloves, and sewed her little mouse animal. I made Jewel sparkles dress into an apron for myself but hadn't quite finished it in time for the party, so I wore it uncompleted, but finished it later. Everyone had eyelashes and pink circles drawn on. I made all the girls tutus and the boys got eye patches like patch treasure chest. For the decorations I made the lala girls into centerpieces Cinder slippers with a glittery 5. I had made a back drop for the food with all the lalaloopsy girls on it. I made a happy 5th birthday Madison banner with the lalas on it. I purchased the wall stickers and put them up. I bought a big mylar lala flower balloon, two small mylar lala balloons and two heart ones also with some pink with white dot latex balloons. I had the lalaloopsy table cloths, plates, napkins, cups, and pink silverware. I made bubble necklaces with a lala label saying happy 5th birthday Madison on them. I made a party bag filled with homemade button magnets, button bracelets, button hair clip, I printed the lala girls and made lalaloopsy magnets and stickers. Lalaloopsy bookmarks and lalaloopsy tattoos, lip gloss with happy 5th birthday, erasers and stickers with labels. For entertainment I made spot splatter splash's animal zebra into a pin the tail on the zebra game. I had lalaloopsy bingo with prizes. I made crumbs mouse and patches parrot so the kids could stuff and sew them together with plastic needles. They played the were is crumbs game, were the doll is hidden and they have to find her. I had a pull string lalaloopsy pinata filled with candy. For the food I made pink chocolate covered pretzels with pink sugar sprinkles, Pink and purple button sugar cookies in a pouch with cinder slipper on it, Home made mango and watermelon button lollypops with lalaloopsy tags, Watermelon fruit boat, homemade strawberry puree lemonade. I put happy 5th birthday madison labels on water bottles. I also made shimmery pink and green gumball treats with lalaloopsy tags. I had a sandwich platter, and jumbo muffins. I made a strawberry cake with strawberry filling and cream cheese frosting with sky blue mmf on top,I purchase the lalaloopsy class to put on the cake instead of making them by hand "WARNING do not let them out of your sight mittens went missing" lol. I made a strawberry cake with strawberry cream cheese frosting filled with pureed strawberry covered with mmf. This was my first big party I think I might have taken on a bit much and not left enough time for set up, which nobody noticed cause it was so over the top. I planed for months for this party my daughter had sew much fun... and so did I :) Coming soon to Ebay...
