Party Recap

Mac's graduation from the St. Joseph's Preparatory School (The Prep) was a special one. Not only was Mac successful in finishing his high school years and being accepted into a wonderful college to further his education, but also The Prep holds a rich tradition in his family. His father, who passed away last summer, was a Prep graduate, along with most every other man in his family. I tried to find a small, yet strong, way to capture the pride and passion of this legacy and did so in the table centerpieces. Each table was topped with old Prep yearbooks, dating back to 1969-the year of his father's graduation. The yearbooks looked great on the tables and provided fun conversation for the guests as they looked through the pages of The Prep's past and present.

Mac is also the captain of the Prep's golf team. This was used as inspiration for the design patterns of Erin Phelps at Rose Door Design. That, along with the strong school colors of SJP helped give the party a nice masculinity for the high school senior, with baby's breath and lots of pictures from the graduate's childhood adding a nice soft touch.

    Graphic Designer

As usual, Erin did an amazing job with all the printables for this party. She is responsible for the banner, which was the center of attention, the food picks, the cupcake toppers, confetti for the tables, and patterned paper for the picture display. Her talent and execution make all of my parties better!!!http://www.facebook.com/rosedoordesign?ref=ts&fref=ts
