"Survivorman" Birthday - Luke 8 years old

We decided that a Survivorman Party sounded awesome...and it was! We had a blast! We gave all the boys bandanas, like Les wears, and then got to it! There was slingshot practice with water balloons, a scavenger hunt in the woods to find materials to build a shelter, shelter building, knife safety, and building fire with flint and steel. We finished things off with Survivorman foods and a special birthday cake made by mom. The wild boar and bonfire candles were a hit! Its really too bad the party wasn't longer...the kids could have stayed in the woods forever :) It was so much fun!
