Little Cupcake's 2nd Birthday

A cupcake-themed birthday for a special 2yr old girl. Thrifty & quickly put together, this party used themed printables, colorful treats and a custom outfit to make a sweet cupcake look come to life.

  Birthday girl wore custom made (by mommy) bonnet and dress, made from the fabric used as tablecloths at her 1st birthday party the year before.

• Thrifty Secrets

  Using vases, dishes, jars and baskets from around the house kept things classy, but cheap. Plastic tablecloth went fancy with a small fabric runner on top and inexpensive tulle draped in front. Tabletop & cupcake decorations were simply printables taped to lollipop sticks.

• Special gift

  I designed and made a fluffy, pink fleece, hedgehog pillow as her birthday present. It sleeps in her bed with her every night.
