Leilani's Winter Onederland

It was a beautiful, cool winter day in South Florida where a cardigan is all you need, and our little snowflake turned ONE! We had great food and desserts. We expected about 25 guests but ended up having 40! Check out the pictures, and the dessert buffet which was such a blast putting together. I was relieved to see that even though the guests doubled, we had enough sweets for everyone :)

• Best Dressed

  Leilani of course! I had three snowflakes embroidered onto a plain white onesie, with a white cardigan that had sparkly ruffles lining the buttons. She had a matching tutu-skirt, pink tights and her winter wonderland boots!

• What People Ate

  For the entree, we served rice, beans, pork, yucca and chicken wings

• What People Drank

  Hot chocolate was a big hit - EVERYONE took one or two trips to that station :). Most of the water bottles disappeared off the dessert buffet too. And of course soda was an option.

• Desserts

  For sweets, everyone enjoyed some Vanilla rum cake, Mexican wedding cakes, chocolate covered oreos, alfajores, hot chocolate.
