Party Recap

Kimball's 2nd birthday carnival was a great time! My dad was able to make the sesame st. sign and cookie monster. The cookies monster was just traced on with an overhead projector. The letters for the sign, I printed on white sticker paper and cut out. I ordered a pre-packaged set from Etsy for the food tags and other little signs. Sam's had the cute Sesame St. juice boxes. The fabric was from Wal-Mart. The tissue balls were a pain, but they turned out sooo cute with the character faces on them. I also made the ring toss game from old water bottles. I made the cookie bean bags from cheap pieces of felt hot glued together and put dry beans in them. The rings for ring toss were glow necklaces from The Dollar Tree. I also made the game signs by covering card board with wrapping paper and then just printing the words on the computer. The trash can was so cute, I just picked it up from the hardware store and then sold it when I was done. I love the book sign ins, we have done those at every party and we love to look back at the messages and remember the theme to each party. The fruit/veggie trays were not hard to make at all either. I also bout fresh crayons and a set of letter block we already had for the table fill ins. Please feel free to ask any questions!

Thanks! We traced the cookie monster on plywood using a projector. My dad is very handy so he cut it out and I painted it. The bean bags were "cookies" I made from felt, beans, and hot glue. The book was a Sesame Street ABC book I found at Barnes and Noble. Hope that helps!
