Party Recap

Kevin is a Jurassic World fan and wanted his birthday to feature just that. We custom made a dinosaur as if he's popping out of the backdrop, complete with sound effects. Each dessert depicted something that is associated with dinosaurs. There were dinosaur eggs, prehistoric dirt, fossilized fudge, cupcakes to look like mini dinosaurs and cookies. The drinks featured Jurassic juice to freshen up any one's thirst. The birthday boy was in complete awe on how his party came together.

Love this! Can you tell me more about how you made the head & sound effects?

The head was hand crafted with paper mache and the sound effects was from a hidden speaker behind the head. It was really a fun project to make!

Hi! Can you tell me how you made the backdrop? I've ordered a dinosaur head like that already, but I was trying to figure out how the back ground was made (the wall that looks like cement with the torches) thank you!!

Hi! Where did you get the little paper bags for the dino bones?

The mini paper bags were purchased at Michael's The "bones" were chocolate covered pretzels

Sorry for the late reply but the "cement" sides were actually foam sheets that I painted to make it look like cement. I purchased the foam at Home Depot in the insulation department.

Ashley! Please accept my apologies on the late reply! I made the food sticks myself. I had found the wooden paddles at Michael's in the dollar section and I wood burned the words. I'm sorry I can't be any more help than this! I can only imagine the fabulous party you're planning for your son!
