This is a WONDERFUL idea! So glad that I found it as I was planning for our little dude's 1st birthday. Definitely a tradition that I want to do and keeping doing in the future.

how did you make the invites? Did you just use the computer to paste things together or do you have some kind of software? I've looked everywhere to see if there was some kind of Eric Carle printable software kit (not sure if that makes sense) but can't find anything.

Hi Caroline, I used Microsoft Publisher to make the invitations with different cliparts that I found and adjusted myself. Hope that helps!

I am in the process of trying to create invitations. Can you share with me how you designed and printed these yourself? I really don't want to have to purchase previously designed Caterpillar cards. Thanks! [email protected]

hi there i'm planning my daughter's first birthday party, trying to create my own invitations and food tags, etc but it's not working very well. Can you tell me how you created your invitation and food tags? I'd love to maybe borrow a digital copy of your invite (just the background that i could put my own wording on) and food tags.
