Jordan's 1st Circus Birthday

I planned Jordan's 1st Birthday party theme while I was still pregnant with Jordan! Months of planning, and LOTS of love was put into this Circus party! I created a red & white circus tent over our patio - this was done with red & white pastic table covers I scoured the internet for ideas, and was inspired by everyone's amazing circus parties! I painted the drink station, and added fun details. I also painted & created the game booths! I made the centerpieces, party hats, marshmallow pops, game booths, game signs, and hand fans for the guests, {it was super hot that day} One of my friends made the cupcakes & cupcake toppers, my sister made the cookies on sticks, and my BFF made Jordan {the Birthday boy} and my hubby a matching shirt. The photgrapher made the cute little circus tent for all the kids to play inside! The cake is from Beverly's Best in Fullerton, CA. Cotton candy, and freshly popped popcorn, filled the air!

• Best Dressed

  The Birthday boy & my Hubby were the best dressed boys there! My friend made each of them a matching shirt with a big polka dotted tie sewn on!

• Desserts

  Cupcakes, and delicious cake from Beverly's Best in Fullerton, CA satisfied every guests' sweet tooth.

• Activities / Games

  The kids had a variety of games to play: A fish toss {Yep, they won a real fish!} ring toss, knock the pins, and fishing for ducks!

• Budget

  My budget went out the door! {But so worth the smile on everyone's face} I over heard a few of the kids say, "this is the best party I've ever been to!"

• Party Favors

  The kids received bags filled with a party horn, clown nose, and tickets for the carnival games. Once they turned in their winnings, they had their choice of toys & candy from the prize booth!

• Best Moment

  The best moment for me, was seeing everyone's reaction as they passed through the Circus arch, and entered our backyard! Their expressions made all my hard work worth every sleepless night!

• What People Ate

  The guests feasted on fried chicken, baked beans, and cole slaw! Marshmallow pops, cupcakes, cotton candy, and freshly popped popcorn filled the air!

• What People Drank

  When the guests were thirsty, they helped themselves to lemonade, ice tea, and cutely decorated water bottles.

• Most Touching Moment

  I will never forget the heartwarming moment when I brought Jordan outside to see his Birthday party decorations. He pointed to everything, and I told him, "this is all for you!" He squealed, and wrapped his chubby arms around my neck - as if he understood exactly what I was saying!

• Funniest Moment

  The funniest moment would have to be Jordan's smash cake moment. He did NOT want anything to do with his cake!
