Party Recap

This baseball themed graduation party was perfect for my son who played ball for over 10 years. In addition to the concession stand and baseball stadium food, we also served beverages in two large galvanized tubs. One was labeled "Rookies" with pop and water and the other was labeled "Old Timers" with beer and wine coolers.
The kids loved the concession stand and came back to it all day. Outside we set up a volleyball net, bean bag toss, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, hula hoops, giant plastic baseball bats and balls, etc. Throw out a couple decks of cards for people who are staying for a while. We had music playing inside and out.
We grilled our own food but it meant being away from guests once in a while. It didn't interfere that much since most people visited with us as we cooked or grilled. Fruit kabobs were made the day before.
The peanuts for the centerpieces were purchased at Costco in large bags. Between Costco and Sams we were able to get most of our concession stand food. Gordons carried the popcorn balls.
