Indian Night Sweet 16
ByParty Recap
After years of planning this day, today I get to share the pictures of my niece's sweet 16. My family and I learned learned so much of the Indian culture while putting all the details together. This was a stunning and elegant sweet 16. We incorporated many Indian details into the decor: elephants, incense burners, lanterns, statues and plenty of rich color, mainly gold. My niece wore a beautiful saree and so did most of the guests who joined the court at the dance floor with their choreographed Indian song (Jai Ho). Guests walked away with good luck elephants which we placed over a gold beaded charger plate. The cake was breathtaking! The artwork that went into it was just amazing. We placed it under a fabric draped tent with pillows, candle holders, flowers and vases. The event was a complete success and definitely an unforgettable one!
