Ice Cream Party

This fun ice cream party was such a perfect theme for a summer pool party! The party was held in my sister’s backyard right next to her fabulous pool. The dessert table and ice cream bar were a huge hit!
The dessert table started with the most adorable ice cream cart from Meri Meri. I recovered the top with pink glitter paper to match the party colors. On the small ice cream cart I made mini Rice Krispy pops dipped in white chocolate. I just love the mini ice cream cones you can find at the store to make these mini desserts. I also made the colorful ice cream cone sugar cookies. I filled a large glass vase with lots of ice cream cones and stacked colorful cones on a cake stand to add some color. The girl’s favors were the small ice cream tub with a personalized sticker I made for each one. I filled the small tubs with an ice cream cone pencil sharpener, tattoo and a fun dip.
The ice cream bar had more than 10 fun toppings and candies. It was so much fun creating this ice cream bar and picking out the fun candy and toppings. I used a huge chalkboard as the backdrop for the ice cream bar. I covered small boxes with wrapping paper and placed the small bowls on top to add some height for the toppings. They worked out great. I labeled each topping with a cute ice cream cone printable. The girls created some great ice cream sundaes!!!
The girls had a blast in the pool using the ice cream cone pool floats and even more fun creating yummy sundaes at the ice cream bar!! I say the party was a success!!
