Halloween and Thanksgiving inspiration!

This was actually a Halloween AND Thanksgiving shoot….but not at the same time!Here is the concept. I decorate my home for fall. I add “touches” of design to make it “Halloween” and then they come down at the end of October and I add “touches” of design to make it more Thanksgiving. When I host a party….I always start by looking at what I have around my home to decorate with so that I don’t have to buy and store a ton of party supplies that are used just for that day……..and that’s where this idea came from!!!

I designed a party that would use the “decorations” I already had in my home, then show how you can use the same party supplies and decor to host a Halloween Party and the REUSE & RECYCLE the items used or left over {…other than the food served….that’s gross} to host a lovely Thanksgiving Dinner!!

First up is Halloween – I LOVE this traditional feel used for Halloween…which is rather untraditional!! A brown and cream Halloween blends perfectly into so many homes of my friends and family….and orange and black just don’t always…so there you have it! The Halloween table featured a Halloween Sign, Halloween Cupcake toppers, and rhinestone spiders and web stickers on the pumpkins.
White pumpkins carry through both holidays seamlessly! I used paper doilies and paper pumpkin cut outs to create very effective and inexpensive table runners!
When you move on to Thanksgiving….use it all again! This time, simply switch out the sign with the Thanksgiving Sign (Free Download at the bottom of the page), Thanksgiving Circles (another Free Download) , and the Thanksgiving invite (comes with the Halloween invite for only $5 in the Etsy Shop!)

Thanksgiving in my absolute, hands down, favorite Holiday and if we end up traveling, you better be sure I will be packing up these pumpkins so I can use this design where ever we are!
And of course a staple at every party around this house….a KIDS TABLE! This is a kids table that can work for either party! With a sweet creamer dish to hold crayons, and white pumpkin cut outs to color on, the kids are sure to have fun waiting for the sweets to be served!
