Party Recap
I had a Titanic themed birthday party for my 5 year old. The food included bagels with cream cheese ("Life Rings"), PBJs cut into sail boats, hot dogs ("Salty Dogs"), shell pasta w/ pesto ("Seashells & Seaweed"), goldfish & potato chips ("Fish & Chips"), and Submarine sandwiches. Games included an iceberg snowball toss, "Don't Hit the Iceberg" (a variation of Pin the Tail on the Donkey), and a Titanic pinata filled with Lifesavers, and other theme-related candy. For the cake I ordered an edible icing picture and made homemade buttercream frosting to accompany. The goody bags were "Sailor Sacks" and had a sailor cap, drinking cup, souvenir Titanic sticker, emergency flare (glow stick), and loot (shells and coins from the dollar store). The birthday boy's bag had a captain's hat instead.
