Dad's World Famous Crappy Circus

I had been brainstorming on designing a party goods suite around the whole circus concept but with an urban twist. I was envisioning bold Graffiti Fonts and edgy cartoon style imagery combined with some of the more traditional circus elements.

I started piecing together a vision board for myself and then it dawned on me that Father's Day was just around the corner and how great it would be to turn our usual backyard BBQ into a circus of sorts with fun games and appropriate decor.

Incorporating the DAD factor changed the direction a little bit as well. I didn't want it to be the kind of cutesy circus with ruffles and bows you see at baby showers and such. I wanted a manly beer/ burger bash so there needed to be humor, masulinity and a casualness to it.

The party was held in my backyard for just immediate family. In total about 10 of us and 3 children.
