Party Recap

Cameela was in Star Wars heaven at her 5th Birthday party! For the guests: each child received a Star Wars mask, a Birthday crown, a favor bag, a surprise ball and a balloon. Decorations: all party decor came from a custom printable party pack from the etsy shop:

There was a 'Happy Birthday Cameela' banner, a large bunting banner and a smaller decorative banner. The centerpieces were printables as well. I filled mason jars with colored gumballs and chocolate candies, then taped the cutouts to skewers and placed them in the jars. I filled the 3rd jar with paper straws and the printable straw flags.
To eat: We had the party after lunchtime, so we just had desserts. Homemade cupcakes with pink & blue icing and edible glitter on top. The cupcakes each had printable wrappers and toppers. I cut out the toppers and taped them to toothpicks, then inserted them in the cupcakes. I dipped pretzel sticks in melted chocolate and sprinkled with glitter to look like lightsabers!
I got red and blue chevron paper plates. And rolled up napkins and taped a printable ring around them that looked like light sabers as well. I placed these in a Darth Vader shaped Halloween trick or treat basket I had picked up on clearance after last Halloween.
I taped streamers across the back of the kitchen entryway in alternating colors. Star Wars balloons were everywhere!
