Party Recap

My younger son was turning six in June and I was thinking to throw a party for him. While I wanted to throw a First Communion and Confirmation party for my older son as well. Both celebration came in the same month so we thought to connect them together and have a party for our two boys. At first the party decorations came to my mind. I wanted to make it suitable for both Birthday and First Communion. I thought to make the decorations in light colors but in the end I've decide to make it light blue, dark blue and yellow. The bow tie looked really nice with the combination of blue chevron and stripes. I made the whole party from scratch: printable decorations and food as well. We served homemade barbacoa made in slow cooker with corn, rice and lettuce. The food was delicious and satisfying. For the additional food we served popcorn, chips with salsa and fruits.
