Party Recap
Party Highlights
-
Desserts
The birthday girl and a number of her guests have dietary restrictions, so we went with a spiced vegan cake shaped in the number "2".
-
Party Favors
Each little guest received an "Explorer Back Pack" chocked full of goodies for exploring: Fruit Snacks, freezable fruit pops, juice and Goldfish crackers.
-
Activities / Games
The party was held at a children's bounce house. As the guests bounced around in the various play houses, they were greeted with a real life sized Dora impersonator in full costume.
-
Budget
$2,000, we stayed around $1,300 for all, including the facility and rental fees that I was able to negotiate!
-
Best Moment
The look on the Children's faces when they entered the birthday party room. Although young in age, ranging from 2-5yrs old, the children all said "Ohh Dora, There's Dora! I love Dora, she's everywhere!"
-
Funniest Moment
Life sized Dora was not welcomed by some of the more timid guests, so there was little bit of running away from Dora, who just wanted a hug and picture :-)
-
Most Touching Moment
The parents actually hugging me (the Planner & Decorator) to say this was the best party and thanking me so much for pulling it all together seamlessly.
-
Best Dressed
Of course the Birthday Girl!
-
What People Ate
The party was held on Cinco de Mayo, so we kept the Mexican theme going with an awesome taco bar provided by Moe's Southwestern Grill Catering.
-
What People Drank
Juices & Water were provided to the children. The Waters were decorated with custom water labels.
