Balloons!

This was the special High effort/Low effort feature for Festivities magazine. (http://www.issuu.com/frogprincepaperie/docs/festivites_summer_2012). We present the same party, two different ways. One very simple, one amped up, to show how a party can be beautiful and delightful without going DIY crazy or spending a ton of money. Lots of tutorials from this party are starting to go up on the blog this week (link in my profile).

• Desserts

  Balloon sugar cookies, cupcakes, sky parfaits, meringue clouds, "bunches of balloons" (grapes).

• Party Favors

  Lollipops customized with photos of the birthday boy.

• Activities / Games

  Playing with bunches of giant balloons, coloring, a balloon obstacle course.

• What People Ate

  Grilled cheese sandwiches, "balloon strings" (shredded carrots).
