My boys had a combined party of NASA Space Astronaut party (their birthdays are literally weeks apart). So with it being in summer we opted to the neighborhood pool that we are so blessed with. Here was the Training to be an Astronaut Agenda: 1. Lung Capacity- swim test 2. Rocket Launching- we made paper rockets that they literally launched with our own air pump pvc launcher 3. Collecting of Moon Rocks- we hid rubber "moon rocks" in the shallow area of the pool that the kids collected

    all referenced names: Saturn Rings- Funyuns, Galaxy Pinwheels- Costco wraps, Lunar Sandwiches- Costco crescents, Asteroid- Moon Cheese balls, Steller Salad- pasta salad with star shaped pasta, fruit, and freezer bomb pops

    waters, gatorades- red and blue for NASA

  • Desserts

    Cake- from HEB but my boys went to Five Below and found all types of jawbreakers and other candy that we can make look like planets, we made a small round blue cake and iced it to look like the moon to add to the top of the cake with our astronaut figures.

  • Party Favors

    we gave away moon pies, galaxy informational card, and space stickers in a box. And inflatable shuttles for the pool
