Party Recap

For my daughter's second birthday I KNEW what party she would want....Dora! Amarah (along with many other toddlers) loves Dora. I was very excited to plan this party.

The party stared when the birthday girl arrived. While waiting for her other guests, she took pictures in the party photo stand in. As guests kept coming in, they all took a turn taking a picture while being Boots or Dora. It was a hit!

Next, once all the kids arrived, my dad made the Swiper noise. I asked Amarah who made that noise, and she goes, "Papa!" She made us all laugh. I then showed her and the other kids a note that Swiper left. He said he took Amarah's birthday cupcakes and locked them away. We had to find the key in Bear Cave!

Luckily Amarah knew we had to check the Map before we could find the key. (During this game I had a pre-made Dora music playlist that played the songs at the right time of the game.) We checked the map and found out we had to go to Troll Bridge, then Duck Lake, and finally Bear Cave.

First we went to Troll Bridge. The Troll told us we had to find the 20 ducks that were hiding around. The kids had fun finding the ducks. They found the 20 ducks and put them in their backpacks. Before they could cross the bridge, they found out there were pieces missing. They checked their backpacks for the missing shapes, and completed the bridge. They were able to cross!

Before arrive at Duck Lake, the explorers found explorer stars. They caught them and put them in their star pockets (found in their backpacks.) They then put the ducks away in the Duck Lake.

At Bear Cave it was very dark. Amarah took out her flashlight from her backpack and all the explorers went through the tunnel and found the key! Yay! They ran back to the kitchen and Amarah unlocked her cupcakes!!
Mission successful!
