Ahoy!

Ahoy Matey! This pirate themed birthday party was a real "treasure." As guests arrived (boys and girls) were transformed into pirates via special makeup. Once in character, party guests went on a treasure hunt to discover skull rings, compass necklaces, bandanas and eye patches! At the end of the hunt was a treasure box filled with all sorts of loot (ring pops, beaded necklaces, telescopes, compasses and assorted skull/bones candy). A quick game of "cannonball pop" and "find the buried gold" lead guests to a lunch filled table complete with an adorable pirate hook cake and many handmade chocolates which included skull crusted choc. covered oreos, skeleton choc. covered pretzels and choc. lollipops made to resemble treasure boxes and pirate ships!

A quick lesson in pirate lingo caused all the guests to exclaim, "Ahoy!"
