"A Charlie Brown Christmas" Outdoor Showing

Party Recap

With the backyard similar to an old drive-in theater (minus the cars, of course... The guests were only ages 3-6) & the back porch transformed into Snoopy's dog house, complete with award winning Christmas decorations, the Christmas karaoke rang out while the kids sang and waited for the show to start. I can't think of a better way to ring in the Christmas season than with "A Charlie Brown Christmas." And, when you live in the south, December is the perfect time of year for an outdoor event :)

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

The kids had p-nut butter & jelly sandwiches cut into the shape of Gingerbread men, popcorn (of course; we were watching a movie... Duh), fried mozzarella sticks, pigs in a blanket-- your basic kid food. Most of the parents hung inside while enjoying chilli & cups of coffee

  • What People Drank

Capri Sun (kids) Coffee, tea, soda (adults)

  • Desserts

Cake pops, cake pops, cake pops!

  • Party Favors

Cake pops... Lol Aaaand, the cutest bobble head snowmen... And, don't forget the glow-in-the-dark necklaces & bracelets- a must have for any evening, outdoor party

  • Activities / Games

    Christmas Karaoke

  • Budget

    $50

  • Funniest Moment

The best moment was probably watching the kids sing along to Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You". Priceless.

  • WHAT I WILL REMEMBER

Kids will continually surprise you. Although they appreciated the Peanuts gang, all the fun 'theme-y' stuff & the movie, they were the most attentive while watching "Duck Dynasty"... Go figure!

  • #1 REGRET

Always, always, always, my #1 regret is that I don't get a chance to take more pics or take pics at the right times because I am running around like a crazy person. I seriously need my own personal photographer!
