It was really fun making the decorations!

  the adults getting into the harry potter mood by wearing props i had made

  the birthday boy, who was complete with a scar on his forehead (eye liner)

  wands, broom goodie bags, stuffed animals, mad eye moody eye patch, gryffindor tie

  hat/house sorting, wand making, candy "shopping", pet choosing, wizard school, potion making

• Budget

  since most items were made or bought from the dollar store, the biggest cost item was food which about $50

• What People Ate

  main food was picnic/sandwich type "dishes"

• What People Drank

  "magical" drinks made in clear "solo" cups that had a few food coloring drops hidden by ice cubs so when the water is poured in, it changes into a unique color
