Truly exquisite little lay down perfume bottle with French tag still attached! I found this lovely at a high end estate auction in St. Paul, Minnesota along with several wonderfully preserved pieces of signed jewelry.

Lovely etched crystal perfume container with a silver tone metal lid ( I am unsure of the exact metal). It has a foil tag attached by string that reads "Pomme d amour" on one side and " LaCastillere paris france" on the other. The lid screws nicely and opens to reveal a long glass rod for applying the perfume. Perfume is NO LONGER inside. This is an empty bottle.

These little bottles were designed to be held by the wearer, hence they aren't meant to stand upright but lay on their side. I am unsure of the date on this, but believe it be either Victorian or Edwardian.
