Make a statement at your spring wedding with this gorgeous framed chalkboard. Not only does this ornate chalkboard coordinate beautifully with other shabby chic and fairytale reception supplies, it can also serve as a message board after the wedding.

This chalkboard is painted in layers of gold and light pink before being distressed to bring out its shabby chic style. It is then finished with a clear matte wax sealer for durability. The chalkboard is made using a sheet of rigid plexiglass and a chalkboard vinyl surface.

It comes with a black foam core backing and hanging hardware, so that it can be vertically or horizontally displayed.

Chalkboard care:
As with the most chalkboard vinyl surfaces, it is best to use a good quality chalkboard marker instead of a piece of chalk, which could leave tiny scratches on it over time. Based on my own experience, I also recommend using a wet magic eraser or soft cloth to gently wipe away the chalkboard ink after each use.
