“A Christ Centered Christmas” homeschool study unit consists of 15 days of lessons to be done in the month of December.
The purpose of this unit is to keep Jesus Christ and making wholesome family memories the center and focus of our holiday season.
There is no mention of Santa, elves, or other secular traditions.

Each lesson consists of a scripture of the day (KJV), a Christmas song to sing each day (or if you don’t want to sing, a suggestion of a YouTube video of that song to watch), and at least 1 craft or activity to do. This is designed to be easy prep and low-cost. Each day includes the lyrics to the first verse of the song for that day.

Each day also includes reading a Christmas picture book together or whatever read-aloud book you would like.

Each week has a service planner to do a service project to go along with the #LighttheWorld initiative.

Course also includes is a “Gifts from Heavenly Father” advent calendar that starts on Dec. 1st and counts down to the 24th.

This unit is intended for elementary age students.

While all are welcome to use it, this curriculum is based on doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and references to LDS scriptures,
magazines, and other resources are a integral part of the study unit.
