This is a polished penny that can be worn as a tie tack, a hat pin, or a lapel pin. The penny comes with an optional heart stamped around the year. The penny tie tack pin is packaged in a gold foil gift box.

☛ You select the penny year you want. For this listing, the year must be between 1959 and 1979. If you want another year of penny, please check out my other auctions. If interested, you can have a heart stamped around the year (see example in photo #5). The heart will be blackened in so that it stands out.

☛ The visible side of the penny will be polished to a bright shine but will show some wear and scratches due to circulation. If you would rather NOT have the penny polished, please let me know. I can leave it in its original color/condition, which will vary greatly depending on its circulation. If you want an uncirculated penny for your tie tack / pin, please convo me about setting up a custom order.

☛ The back of the penny features a tie tack base with clutch, making it versatile enough to be worn as a tie tack or other type of pin (e.g., lapel, hat, or scarf pin). The tie tack base is firmly secured with permanent jewelry glue.

✔ Each hand-stamped item is stamped by me, by hand, using a hammer -- one letter/number/character/symbol at a time -- so the letters/characters/numbers may not be perfectly lined up, which only adds to the charming, rustic appeal of an item. No two will ever look the same!

✔ PLEASE be certain to provide me with ALL requested customization details at Checkout. Failure to do so can result in shipping delays which are beyond my control per my policies. If I need to follow up via convos and/or emails to gather missing custom details, your response time will determine when your item is able to be created. Thanks for understanding.

✔ If you need RUSH Order Processing (for an extra fee) to create your item faster than the standard production time listed above, please convo me prior to ordering.
