Old Vintage Jade Dog Pig Beast Figurine Statue
Beautiful vintage jade dog/pig with scroll-type detail work on back, rump and sides - excellent detail on the head and ears too - translucent nephrite jade, light transmits well through the toes and forelegs, much of the rest of the piece is opaque due to its thickness - perforated through the front feet so dog/pig could hang as an ornament as well as just sit about.
This piece is very well carved, and is solid and stable on hard flat surfaces.
No chips, cracks or breaks, some minor pitting, patina and surface transformation - in excellent vintage condition!
