Make this sweet monkey critter lovey for your next baby shower gift and you are sure to get oohs and ahhs! This fun lovey is the perfect security blanket for any baby.

The finished lovey head is approx. 5" wide (without the ears) and the blanket attached is approx. 12" x 12". A great size to cuddle with. Pictures show the lovey with a 5 month old baby.

Recommend fabric is Cuddle or minky for maximum softness but this pattern can also be made with fleece and flannel.

This pattern is recommended for confident beginner to intermediate sewers.

To make the monkey critter lovey you will need:
1/2 yard (or fat quarter) of 2 different Cuddle fabrics
Scraps of black and white fleece or Cuddle
Thread
Pins or clips
Polyfil stuffing
Embroidery thread and needle (optional)
sewing machine with sharp (microtex) needle
hand sewing needle
