A bursting pink Japanese Cherry Blossom tree near the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. The entire week up until this day had been in the 90s and super hot. While a bit sticky and uncomfortable (and terribly unseasonable), it made for a stunning display at the National Cherry Blossom Festival. The trees were so heavy and full, that all I could think is how wonderful it would be to climb up into those branches and have a nap amongst all of those beautiful cherry blossoms.
