*What supplies are needed to print at home?
You will need card stock or photo paper, a printer, envelopes and a paper trimmer or scissors.
*I'm not very computer savvy, is it easy to print at home?
In order to print, all you have to do is print the digital file like a photo on 4 x 6 or 5 x 7 paper.
*Can I bring this file to my favorite photo center, like Target or Wal-Mart?
The files are designed to print just like photos.You can save it to your flash drive or upload it to their site and bring it to a photo center.
*Why do the colors look different on the screen compared to when I print the invitations?
Colors will vary depending on your monitor settings and the way your file is printed. I recommend using www.mpix.com for printing because their printing quality is superb.
*Can you send me a proof before I order?
Each order is custom and It takes time for me to design each card and personalize it with your photos and text. Proofs are only sent after the item is ordered and paid for. Once you receive the proof the first two changes are complimentary. Any additional changes needed ( ex. change of time, location etc.) will be charged $4 per change needed. Please proofread your text carefully and send it to me just as you would like it printed. File resize requests (from 5 x 7" to 4 x 6") require basically redesigning the card. There will be a charge of $5 for this. Please review your order before submitting and be sure to include your size.
*Where can I buy envelopes and what size do I need?
I recommend using www.envelopes.com for custom envelopes. They offer all sizes and colors. You can also find envelopes at your local ofice supply store.
*How do I send you my photo?
Please email your photo to magicbymarcy [!at] gmail.com. Photos must be 300 dpi or greater.
By sending me photos, you assume all responsibility for the use of the photos. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate permissions for use of the photos, if applicable. It is illegal to use images that are copyrighted without permission from photographer.
Designs that are meant to be doublesided will be formatted to a 5.25X7.25 and it is recommended you print at www.mpix.com on their doublesided cardstock (linen, pearl, stock, gloss, recycled). They have very competitive prices and envelopes are included.
I recommend printing onto cardstock paper ( found at walmart or an office supply store. Just insert the image into word document and drag the corners to resize as needed, then print.
