Leggings have a tighter fit and some moms prefer to size up. Slim Joggers and Gusset Pants (western halloween) are more relaxed, with an elastic waistband. Gusset pants have more room in the hip. Most moms recommend either his usual size or one up. Size exchanges are always ok.
