----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please carefully review ALL of the below information prior to placing an order:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) What Exactly is Vintage/Reclaimed/Repurposed GOLD-PLATED Flatware?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This means the flatware pieces are previously used and can include nicks, spots, plate-wear, and scratches. Each piece is thoroughly cleaned and inspected by me. Reviving these antique pieces and giving them a new life as garden/plant/flower markers, cheese markers, silverware jewelry, and other kitchen & garden art is a fun way to reuse and recycle as well as to enjoy their vintage charm and history.

GOLD plating (electroplating) on antique flatware varies in color, thickness, and patina between pieces (and even within patterns) depending on the original design as well as how much each piece was used in its previous life. Because of the age and history of my reclaimed flatware pieces, imperfections/wear are to be expected and cherished -- that is part of their charm and character.

2) How Should I Care for my Vintage GOLD-PLATED Jewelry?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If dirty, please gently hand wash your GOLD-plated vintage spoon handle barrette using a damp washcloth. This will help to preserve the GOLD electroplating, making the flatware last longer. Mild dishwashing detergent, lukewarm water, and a soft washcloth can be used to clean the GOLD-plated spoon handle jewelry. Be sure to dry the piece thoroughly prior to storage.

Avoid exposure to hair spray, hair gel, mousse, leave-in conditioner, perfume, lotions, oil, water, and other chemicals which can damage the gold-plating. Your barrette should be the last thing you put on (after hairspray, etc.).

It is normal for GOLD-plated pieces to darken and tarnish over time. Because of the electroplating, there is a risk of chipping the real gold when cleaning the pieces or if the pieces are dropped on a hard surface. After hand-washing, *gently* using a gold polishing cloth can restore the shine to the gold-electroplating. However, take care NOT to polish too long or too roughly, as that can remove the gold-electroplating from the (typically) stainless steel base.

πŸ’— πŸ’— πŸ’— Please convo me with any questions PRIOR to ordering. I am happy to set up custom orders with other handle styles and patterns as well as using silver-plated handles and/or adding hand-stamped words, names, or dates. More new items are being added daily, so keep checking back. Thanks for looking!

βœ” This item has small parts and should not be given to children due to choking hazards.

βœ” Items created by AmySueCrafts are NOT toys. Please do not allow children, pets, or other adults to play with these items. Many items are breakable and also pose a choking hazard. Never put pennies, coins, charms, or other items in your mouth (or allow others to do so).

βœ” Except in the case certain of ready-to-ship items, the items pictured are EXAMPLES ONLY; yours will vary based on your customization choices and natural variations in the hand-stamping process.

βœ” Care Instructions for Your Handmade Item:
- Avoid direct contact with lotion, oil, perfume/cologne, hairspray, sunscreen, bug spray, and other chemicals (e.g., harsh detergents, household cleaners, bleach, alcohol, acids, etc.)
- Avoid contact with water – do not shower with OR swim with your keychains, pendants, jewelry, or other items created by AmySueCrafts; chlorine and other chemicals in water can damage, discolor, and/or destroy your handcrafted items
- In addition, keep resin-based items (e.g., music cufflinks, resin flower pendants, etc.) away from extended exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures
- For vintage silverware, please refer to the care instructions included with your order

βœ” Each hand-stamped item is stamped by me, by hand, using a hammer -- one letter/number/character/symbol at a time -- so the letters/characters/numbers may not be perfectly lined up, which only adds to the charming, rustic appeal of an item. No two will ever look the same!

βœ” PLEASE be certain to provide me with ALL requested customization details at Checkout. Failure to do so can result in shipping delays which are beyond my control per my policies. If I need to follow up via convos and/or emails to gather missing custom details, your response time will determine when your item is able to be created. Thanks for understanding.

βœ” If you need RUSH Order Processing (for an extra fee) to create your item faster than the standard production time listed above, please convo me prior to ordering.

βœ” I ship ALL items with USPS Trackingβ„’ (formerly called "Delivery Confirmation") which means I ***CANNOT*** ship anything by regular USPS First Class Mail; it must be sent as a USPS First Class Parcel to qualify for USPS Trackingβ„’. This is slightly more expensive for very small, flat items, but the tracking information provides you with proof that I shipped the package and proof of delivery.

βœ” AmySueCrafts accepts payment via ALL major credit cards as well as PayPal. Please convo me if you need further assistance. Please also note that payment by eCheck (checking account) or debit card may delay your order; those forms of payment often take 3-5 business days to clear the bank.

βœ” AmySueCrafts is ***typically*** open for orders SUNDAYS through THURSDAYS (closed for ordering on Fridays & Saturdays). I also close periodically for additional days to ensure I continue to complete all orders in a timely fashion. For current scheduling, please see my β€œAnnouncements” on my home page (www.AmySueCrafts.Etsy.com). Please refer to your order convo and/or receipt for your ship-by date. You will receive a tracking number via Etsy convo when your order ships.

βœ” Custom order requests are always welcome!
