♥ You get these printable ABC letters in two ways: in a .PDF file and in a .ZIP file. Check your Etsy account for the link to download the files.
♥ Inside the .PDF, you'll get six 8.5" by 11" pages, with five cards on each (except the last, which has one card). When printed at full resolution, each card measures 3" by 4.2." Print the pages on card stock then cut out these nerdy ABC cards.
♥ Inside the .ZIP file, you'll get each card saved individually. Each card is designed at 300 pixels per inch, so when printed at full resolution, each card measures 3" by 4.2".
♥ Each card features a vintage science fiction image based on vintage comic books, all in retro colors. The outside edge of each card is an off-white.
♥ Print these comic-book-themed flash cards on heavyweight card stock then cut them out.
♥ Many of the illustrations depict scenes of astronauts, spaceships and alien beings in outer space.
Because the illustrations are based off old comic books, some of the images suggest mild violence and some contain sci-fi creatures. Therefore, these cards may not be suitable for very young children. Parents, please look at the preview and use your discretion.
♥ The letters, in part, stand for alien abduction, blaster, creatures, droid, invisibility jet pack, kinetic energy, mad scientist, ray gun, space station, time travel, x-ray vision.
♥ Predominate colors are bluish gray, yellow, orange, red, purple, green and black. The colors of these cards may look slightly different depending upon your computer and your printer.
♥ Hang the flash cards in a room as wall decor or use them to teach the alphabet. They also make terrific embellishments for scrapbooks, mini albums, greeting cards, altered art, digital art and crafts projects.
