I started More Than Many Sparrows Boutique as an outlet after my husband and I experienced some deep grief and sadness along our journey.

After a place of sorrow and depression, I found myself constantly quoting Matthew 10:29-31 to myself ("Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.") I didn't FEEL its was true- I just kept telling myself that it had to be. Through this time I felt that I had lost my faith and one day after sitting and watching some tiny sparrows flit in and out of my bird house, bird feeder and bird bath I found some small measure of joy in their simple lives and their simple happiness.

When I started making items for others who needed a "boost" of joy, I realized how cathartic it was for me and I felt like it was doing good for both myself AND those who got the items! So, my little business was born and I feel like it is part of my journey to remind my customers that they too are worth MORE THAN MANY SPARROWS!

My shop items and specialty products have changed over the years and they tell the "story" of where we've been on our journey- from encouragement and inspirational quotes and items to products that offer support for infant/child loss, grief and now even adoption! (as we welcomed our son through adoption in 2015). My hope is that people who find my shop will find something they can identify with or that fulfills a need that they have on their own "journey". I would love to add some small measure of joy/happiness/inspiration/peace to your life and/or those of your own loved ones! :-)
