This Gothic, spooky Halloween Junk Journal is the perfect prop for Halloween... even better, it looks like an antique Spellbook but hidden inside it’s antiqued pages await endless journaling spots, photo mats and memory collecting pockets, envelopes and more. Mine will have each of 11 tabs marked with two years in Roman numerals and the last tab will be labelled Potions and Spells and contain all my Halloween recipes as shown on the zombie cupcake page in the pictures. Each tab will then be filled with two years of Halloween memories, journaling, photos, decoration and costume inspiration. It will end up containing 22 years worth of Halloween memories and recipes yet look like the creepiest Halloween prop of them all!
But I’ve already had some ladies say they will use this as a proper Spellbook or book of shadows.
How you use it is up to you! The variations are endless!
Contained in this digital kit you will find the following:
* 5 different cover options (I used the black one but there are red, green and blue options all with different designs. I have untitled options and one has a self editable title. You can make different journals in different thicknesses and have a whole collection of Spellbooks!
* 4 different cover liners for a professional look, these can also be used as papers or to make pockets or files.
* 12 different dividers with tabs (you can choose which to use or use them all! I did!)
* 12 different divider backings which can also be used as papers or to make pockets or files.
* 13 pages of ephemera including:

This book is bound using Coptic stitch binding. Instructions are not included but can be readily found on YouTube, I’ve included a link. If you’d prefer you can simply put two holes through each signature and pop in a string or use any method of binding you’d like. Please note that spines are not included with the covers as each journal will vary in thickness depending on your personal choice.

You will need chipboard or a hard cover book from the thrift store to measure 8.5”x6” or bigger (to cut down to size)

If you want to make a hardcover journal, you will need 2 chipboard pieces 4.75” wide x 8.25” tall and one 1.25" wide and 8.25" tall for the spine.
