For 3-letter monograms, the last name is the middle initial when the monogram showcases a larger center initial. For example, Kate Elizabeth Smith would be KSE. In the case of a married couple, the bride's initial is first. For example, Kate and Alex Smith would be KSA. For monograms that are uniform in size, the letters are sequential. For example. Kate Elizabeth Smith would be KES.
