Need a gift for a new Mom or new Dad to celebrate the birth of a baby?

This is a single polished Lincoln penny with a hole drilled at the top and hung on a split ring (more secure/stronger than a jump ring). The penny is hand-stamped with a tiny date above the penny year and a pair of baby feet / footprints.

You can choose between purchasing the stamped penny charm alone OR the penny charm keychain (on a 28mm / 1.125" / 1-1/8" steel-based metal keychain ring in 3 color choices and packaged in an organza gift bag).

➽➽➽ Production time on this item is 3-5 business days (PRIOR to shipping), which does not include weekends or holidays. This means your item will ship no later than 1 week after the date you place your order, unless there is a federal holiday(s) involved.

➽➽➽ This item will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail Parcel (3-7 days typical delivery AFTER production) in a bubble envelope OR via USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate box (2-3 days typical delivery AFTER production). Both shipping options come with USPS Tracking™. Please remember that Priority Mail shipping just means that the item will be delivered faster, NOT that it will be created faster; faster shipping does not equal faster production.

➽➽➽ Pictures are enlarged (close-ups) to show detail. The photos are not the actual size of the finished item. Please refer to the applicable scale information shown in the photos (i.e., the U.S. penny, the U.S. dime, the ruler, etc.) and/or the listing description for actual dimensions. Remember, U.S. pennies are only 19mm across (roughly 3/4-inch or 0.75 inches) and U.S. dimes are only 17.7mm across (less than 3/4-inch; roughly 0.70 inches).

➽➽➽ NOTE: I do *not* stamp on the front & back of any single penny. Stamping on one side causes a slight "smudge" in the metal on the opposite side (because the metal is soft). If you stamp on both sides of the penny, one side of the stamped characters ends up slightly distorted. The only way to avoid this is to stamp the characters *very* lightly, which means they don't show up very well, even when darkened in. Thanks for understanding.

➽➽➽ All pieces are handcrafted by me. Spacing between, and depth of, letters, numbers, characters/images, etc., will vary slightly between, and within, items. These small variations add to the charm and unique nature of each piece. They are not imperfections.

❶ "Keychain or Charm?" -- You can select from among 3 metal keychain ring colors for the keychain version OR you can select the charm version. The options include:

➽➽➽ The default color for the split ring connector for the "Charm ONLY" option is the antique copper color (as pictured). If you would prefer a silver or gold color split ring connector for your plain charm, please let me know at Checkout.

❷ "Penny Year 1959-2023" -- From the drop-down menu, please select the year of penny you want. For this listing, the year must be between 1959 and 2023. If you want another year of penny, please convo me and I can set up a custom order for pennies from 1909-1958.

❸ During Checkout, please specify the date to stamp above the penny year AND the format of the date:

❹ Both sides of the penny will be polished to as bright a shine as possible, but will show some wear and scratches due to circulation.

✔ Each hand-stamped item is stamped by me, by hand, using a hammer -- one letter/number/character/symbol at a time -- so the letters/characters/numbers may not be perfectly lined up, which only adds to the charming, rustic appeal of an item. No two will ever look the same!

✔ PLEASE be certain to provide me with ALL requested customization details at Checkout. Failure to do so can result in shipping delays which are beyond my control per my policies.
