Antique Jade Bird Man Nephrite Figurine Statue
Antique Jade Bird Man Figure in beautiful green nephrite jade, with classic white calcination that is often referred to as "chicken bone" patina, throughout the surface of the figure.
This is a very unusual piece, a bird man, with plume-like ears, without wings, and with human-like feet - the chest and belly area is ridged, the back is deeply grooved, and the tail is also plumed.
Antique Jade Bird Man will tip backward more easily than forward, but is otherwise stable and sturdy - in excellent vintage condition.
Antique Jade Bird Man is from my personal collection of jade figures.
