This keychain features a custom year Lincoln penny with the words "BEST. DAY. EVER." hand-stamped in 3 rows across the front of the coin, a tiny solid heart (optional), and a custom date along the bottom. The penny is strung on a small split ring (stronger than a standard jump ring) and attached to a 1.125 inch (1-1/8"; 28mm) keychain / key ring (3 color choices). The keychain is packaged in an organza gift bag.

This is a great way to commemorate a special date -- your 7th anniversary, first date, wedding date, engagement date, birth date of new baby, 1st anniversary, etc.

From this listing you can choose:
(1) the penny year (1959-2023),
(2) the custom date to stamp (a variation of MM●DD or M●DD●YY or MM●D●YY format with a total of FIVE [5] digits maximum),
(3) whether or not you want the tiny solid heart stamped before the custom date,
(4) how you want the words to be stamped (all uppercase letters, all lowercase letters, or in a combination of upper/lowercase [with the first letter of each word in uppercase]), and
(5) the color of the metal (steel) keychain ring and matching split ring to attach the penny.

I can also make numerous CUSTOM versions of this listing, but please CONVO me BEFORE ordering so I can set you up with a custom listing. Some custom stamping examples include adding a couple's initials, stamping the wedding date in a different location using a tiny font, using a different font for the words, using periods or dashes between the numbers in the date, stamping a different image (different style of heart or another image entirely such as a baby footprint or hand print), stamping the words in a different location, including multiple pennies, stringing the penny on a necklace or bracelet or as a charm instead of on a keychain, etc. The possibilities are endless!

➽➽➽ Pictures are enlarged (close-ups) to show detail. The photos are not the actual size of the finished item. Remember, U.S. pennies are only 19mm across (roughly 3/4-inch or 0.75 inches) and U.S. dimes are only 17.7mm across (less than 3/4-inch; roughly 0.70 inches).

➽➽➽ NOTE: I do *not* stamp on the front & back of any single penny. Stamping on one side causes a slight "smudge" in the metal on the opposite side (because the metal is soft). If you stamp on both sides of the penny, one side of the stamped characters ends up slightly distorted. The only way to avoid this is to stamp the characters *very* lightly, which means they don't show up very well, even when darkened in. Thanks for understanding.

➽➽➽ All pieces are handcrafted by me. Spacing between, and depth of, letters, numbers, characters/images, etc., will vary slightly between, and within, items. These small variations add to the charm and unique nature of each piece. They are not imperfections.

✔ Each hand-stamped item is stamped by me, by hand, using a hammer -- one letter/number/character/symbol at a time -- so the letters/characters/numbers may not be perfectly lined up, which only adds to the charming, rustic appeal of an item. No two will ever look the same!
