This dress shows something I hardly ever wear and that I actually dislike most of the time: geometric patterns. This dress, however, strangely appealed to me in the store a week or so ago. Both pattern and colors are fierce, but the soft and wonderful fabric and the comfortable yet flattering cut made the dress stand out, and I found myself thinking of it later when I'd actually walked past it, so I returned and grabbed it and paid for it before I could change my mind. It's one of those pieces you don't really need, but instantly know at least five different outfits you could build around it. This one was for a rainy day when I didn't want to do my hair or fuss about anything but still look polished and like I put some effort into it. Totally fooled everyone, didn't it?

This dress has the perfect print that doesn't feel too bold or dark but feels more like it's painted on the delicate fabric. Also, the ruffled sleeves and the gold buttons make this dress feel a bit unique, like a real find that is of great quality and will be worn for years to come. I found it on sale at Merchsummer, and paid less for it than a T-shirt from another site would cost. I love this dress!
