Rug tufting is a process of adding a rug's tufts (or "bumps") to the surface of a rug. It's often used in rugs that are intended to be dust-free, as it gives the rug a more finished look.
To do this, a special machine is used that injects adhesive into the bumps and then suctions them down onto the surface of the rug. This process can take quite some time, so it's important to choose a rug that you're sure you'll be happy with once it's finished.
