About Archie and Andi

One of the items on my bucket list for 15 years has been to own a Sphnyx cat. (I know what you're thinking, "What does that have to do with an Etsy shop?" But it will make sense when I'm done, I promise!) Finally, that dream has come true! Artemis Archimedes and Titus Andronicus are officially members of our family. However, there was one caveat. I made a deal with my husband that I would finally bite the bullet and open the Etsy shop I had talked about for years. So with that in mind I figured the kittens nicknames would be a perfect name for my new shop. So Archie and Andi was born!
I bounced around different ideas for an Etsy shop for two years, before opening Archie and Andi. I could never find an idea I thought would work and I really liked. Then, while catering a wedding with the restaurant I work for I handed someone a flatware roll, and thought there's an idea! I have a lot of experience rolling silverware from 13 years working for a local restaurant, why not put it to good use. So, I set about creating some sets to put in the shop, and the rest is history!
I find inspiration from my two girls (4 and 6) and their birthday parties and favorite things of the moment. I also get ideas from the weddings and showers of friends and family; I'm at that point in life where everyone is getting married and having kids, so I have lots to draw on!
