My name is Lorraine Auclair. I am the owner of Gâteaux Lila Cakes and Sweets located in Hawkesbury, Ontario. I am a trained and experienced graphic designer and absolutely adore all aspects of design. I am a retired investment banker and a self-taught baker/cake artisan. I have been decorating cakes for over 10 years now, initially part-time while working in the banking world and now decided to pursue my passion on a full time basis. My caking and decorating adventures began when my daughter Melissa was married ten years ago. Now, here I am today, 10 years and several clients later, fulfilling a lifelong dream. My goal is to have my clients love and appreciate what I do as well as to admire, enjoy and savour a delicious dessert. Children's birthday cakes are my absolute favourite. I love seeing the faces of my tiny clients when they see their birthday cake creations, it truly warms my heart! I recently relocated from Montreal to Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada to fulfill my dream of becoming a full time cake artisan and I invite you to join me on that journey by celebrating special moments with us!
