R&R Creations was created by accident. It started more as a hobby than her dream. Creating has now become a passion to her. As a child, Shalonda dreamt of becoming a nurse. After many denied nursing program applications, she finally got that one acceptance letter that she thought would change her life forever. She worked very diligently to finish school, sacrificing sleep and spending time with her children to make a better life for them all. All of her hard work and determination finally paid off when she finished her Nursing Program and was excited to begin working in the field of nursing. Soon after graduation, Shalonda became very ill and her nursing dreams abruptly came to a halt.
From shattered dreams, R&R Creations was born. Shalonda’s children always had the biggest, most creative and most memorable birthday parties. After her youngest child's 1st birthday, she began getting request to help with the birthday parties of other children and adults. Balancing family, school, and occasional events Shalonda never imagined that she would soon become a full time event planner. In 2016, while secretly fighting cancer and unable to work as a nurse, her event planning skills were on high demand. Her business was born and today she is the lead CREATOR of R&R Creations.
