Party Recap
Aila starts looking through cookbooks to find inspiration for her next birthday cake about six months out from her birthday. So a bakery theme was just perfect for involving her in the excitement of preparations for her 4th birthday party!
With two boys numbering amongst the many female guests, we wanted a colour palette that was feminine but that still had some colours that little boys could relate to. Aqua, yellow and pale pink fit the brief and provided a bright, fun environment for all that baking.
To create a sense of anticipation for the party, guests received an invitation wrapped around a mini rolling pin. Interstate guests received an invitation tied with bakers twine and a mini whisk via the post.
