I helped my sister throw Mary a baby shower. The guests' smiles made the party a success.

We had popcorn containers with "READY TO POP" on each table and "Bun in the Oven" wrapped cinnamon buns as favors.

    Desserts- baby donuts (powdered sugar and chocolate), cinnamon buns, baby (individual) cheesecakes in plain, chocolate, mocha, raspberry, strawberry, keylime and blue berry), chocolate kisses that read "It's a BOY"

    Game- draw a baby on the paper plate...while plate is on your head, baby words unscramble, personalize onuses with fabric pens, opening gifts BINGO

  • Party Favors

    Favor- Little Debbie Cinnamon buns individually wrapped with ribbon and a "BUN in the Oven" tag Favor- microwave popcorn packs wrapped in wrapping paper with a READY to pop tag

  • Best Moment

    Guestbook was a Nursery Rhyme book for the baby that guests could write on the inside pages as a keepsake for baby Well Wishes tree. Cut blossoms the night before and make circles with ribbons for guests to write well wishes or advice to the parents to be and hang on the branches.

  • What People Ate

    Served cheese and crackers, fresh fruit, baby quiches (Lorraine and Florentine), Teriyaki meatballs, cheese popcorn, spinach dip, artichoke dip, french bread.

  • What People Drank

    Drinks- hot coffee, lemonade, water (with citrus slices and strawberries), and ice tea


    centerpiece- fresh pastel flowers, vintage baby toy (also had baby books, stuffed animals, etc.), and baby blanket over table cloths. Added candy and popcorn for snacking. food table- decorated with flowers, baby blankets, silver baby cups, and stuffed animals.

    Luckily I'm a scrapbooker, so I had supplies on hand. The pedants are from scrapbook paper tied with ribbon. I had the flowers I used in the center from swaps.
